If you’ve been around my blog for any length of time, you’ve probably discovered 2 things about me.
Those 2 things being that I love mason jars, and that I LOVE pretty!
I read once something to the effect that you shouldn’t own anything that isn’t useful or that you don’t think is beautiful. And if I find something that is both useful AND beautiful, I feel like I hit the jackpot!
I spend lot of time in the kitchen developing recipes, cooking, baking, and canning. Having my hair up and out of the way is pretty essential. Especially when I’m canning, cuz that can get pretty hot and sweaty! I’ve always had a hard time finding pretty stuff to put my hair up with. So I always default back to that ugly plastic WalMart clippy thingy.
But not any more! Some friends of mine, Scott and Leah from North Country Farmer, sent me a beautiful hair clip that is so easy to use, I wondered why I had been settling for those ugly things for so long.
The company is called Lilla Rose. The name is even kinda elegant, don’t you think? Scott and his wife Leah are affiliates with the company. They have so many different styles and 3 different sizes for different kinds of hair. No one size fits all here! They even have videos on how to put your hair up in different styles using their accessories. How cool is that?
I can’t believe I didn’t know about these beauties before! I have medium length hair that is thick but very fine, so I got a small sized one. As my hair gets longer, I’m going to get some medium sized ones so I can still get it all up.
Here’s a few of the ways I wear my beautiful Celtic knot Lilla Rose hair clip.
And because I love these so much, my friends have offered to give one of you lucky ladies some Lilla Rose hair accessories all for your very own. They’re pretty awesome that way. 🙂
So, all you do to get your very own Lilla Rose goodies is to follow the directions in the Rafflecopter widget below. You have until midnight Friday, August 18th to enter. Then on Saturday, August 19th, the widget will choose a winner and I’ll post that here on the blog and also on my Facebook page. I will contact the winner with instructions for what happens next.
Good luck! And go enter. 🙂
